Fantasy Artwork

Amongst my free time I like to experiment with the new technologies with latest versions of 3Ds Max, keeping my skill set up-to-date is vital in creating 3D visuals with their complexity of modelling, texturing, lighting and most importantly, rendering times.

Experimenting with the unlimited scope of imagination into 3D imagery allows dreams to become a reality; I believe 3D is purely an effective way to communicate an idea that is far greater than any explanation can ever be! When I create visual concepts for Honda and Triumph I take my ideas and present in a 3D form, if I was to explain the idea they would be less likely to take that idea on, fearing the unknown.

Daytona City

This was a speed render test to create an impressive visual in the span of 30 minutes to produce a full Triumph Daytona motorbike, retextured into gold upon a 3D city scape background with the sky cut out, creating the illusion of a full 3D environment with just 100,000 polygons.

Gothic Lounge

A personal favourite of a first class lounge with a hint of gothic black and sand marble flooring, this design took 4 hours to render on maximum V-ray quality settings with some complex caustics for the light reflections on edges of the glass coffee table. This design is an example of how effective black and white is composed together, resulting in colour schemes in high market showrooms are to be taken into great consideration when planning.
